DUEL SYNC

Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the Duel Sync application (the “App”). By signing up for or using the App, the user confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Anyone who does not agree must not use the App. Version 2026-10-16.2, effective as of October 16, 2026.

1. Provider

The App is offered by Gustavo Guillermo Alonso, trading as Kirv Studio (the “Provider”), domiciled in the Argentine Republic. Contact: gugueh.design@gmail.com.

2. Purpose of the service

The App is a free service for players of the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game that lets them find opponents, arrange duels in person, manage decks, practise combos, take part in local communities and tournaments and follow news. The Provider does not organize official tournaments, does not sell cards, does not intermediate in any transaction involving money and is not a party to any agreement users make among themselves.

3. Eligibility and account

  • Minimum age: 13. Users under 18, or under the age set by the law of their country to enter into agreements or consent to the processing of their data, must have the permission of their parent or guardian, who takes responsibility for the minor's use of the App.
  • Each person may hold only one account, linked to their own Google account.
  • Users must provide truthful information and are responsible for the activity carried out from their account. Anyone who suspects unauthorized access must report it immediately to gugueh.design@gmail.com.

4. Licence to use

The Provider grants the user a personal, free, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the App on their devices for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms. The user may not copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer or distribute the App, except to the extent expressly permitted by law.

5. Rules of conduct

Users agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, insult, discriminate against or intimidate other people.
  • Send spam, mass challenges or notes for advertising purposes.
  • Impersonate another person or create fake profiles.
  • Post sexual, violent, unlawful or defamatory content, or content that infringes the rights of others.
  • Request or disclose other people's personal data, such as phone numbers or addresses, without their consent.
  • Use the App for gambling, buying and selling or any transaction involving money.
  • Access other people's accounts without authorization, interfere with the operation of the App or the server, or use them by automated means.
  • Manipulate results, tournaments or standings.

6. Meetups in person

Meetups are freely agreed between users. The Provider does not organize them, does not verify users' identities and is not responsible for what happens at them. Users are advised to:

  • Meet in public places, such as card stores, clubs or other businesses.
  • Tell someone they trust the place and time of the meetup.
  • Not go if something feels wrong, and cancel the meetup from the App.
  • In the case of minors, attend accompanied, or in public places and with the knowledge of a responsible adult.

In the event of any inappropriate conduct, the user can block and report the other person from their profile and, where appropriate, contact the authorities.

7. User content

Content the user posts in the App (profile, notes, shared decks, proposed combos and community posts) remains the user's property. The user grants the Provider a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, reproduce and display that content within the App, solely to provide the service and for as long as the content remains posted. The user warrants that they have the right to post such content. When a user copies another user's public deck, the App keeps the attribution to its author.

8. Moderation and notices

Anyone can report content or conduct contrary to these Terms or to the law from the relevant user's profile or by writing to gugueh.design@gmail.com. The Provider reviews reports and may, proportionately, hide content, restrict features, or suspend or delete accounts. Unless prevented by law or where there is a risk to others, the Provider will inform the affected user of the measure taken and the reasons for it. The user may request a review of the decision by writing to gugueh.design@gmail.com.

9. Intellectual property

  • Yu-Gi-Oh! and the names, images and texts of the cards are the property of Konami Digital Entertainment. The App is an independent project, is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Konami, and uses these elements solely to identify the cards.
  • Card data and images come from YGOPRODeck.
  • The list of cities comes from GeoNames (geonames.org), under the CC BY 4.0 licence.
  • The Exo 2 and Barlow typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font License.
  • The design, code, the Duel Sync brand and the other elements specific to the App belong to the Provider.

10. Third-party services

The App uses third-party services, such as Google, Supabase and YGOPRODeck, which are governed by their own terms. The Provider is not responsible for the availability or content of those services.

11. Availability and warranties

The App is provided free of charge and “as is”. It is under active development, so it may have faults, change or remove features or be temporarily unavailable. The Provider strives to keep it working properly but does not warrant that it is error-free or always available. Decks, combos, reference lists, tiers and news are for guidance only; the official game rules and the Forbidden & Limited List are those published by Konami.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider is not liable for damages arising from meetups between users, from content posted by third parties, from the loss of data stored only on the user's device or from failures of external providers. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded by law, or the rights granted to the user by Argentine Consumer Protection Law No. 24,240 or other mandatory consumer protection rules.

13. Termination and suspension

Users may stop using the App at any time and delete their account in Settings, Delete my account. The Provider may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, in accordance with section 8, and may discontinue the App by announcing it within the App with reasonable notice.

14. Changes

The Provider may amend these Terms. The current version is published in the App and on the website with its date. Material changes will be announced in the App before they take effect and will require new acceptance to continue using the App.

15. General provisions

  • If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.
  • The Provider's failure to exercise a right does not constitute a waiver of it.
  • These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between the user and the Provider regarding the App.
  • These Terms are published in Spanish, English and French. In the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails, unless the applicable law provides otherwise.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. The parties will seek to resolve any dispute amicably by email to gugueh.design@gmail.com. Failing agreement, the competent ordinary courts of the Argentine Republic shall have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the right of a user acting as a consumer to bring a claim before the courts of their domicile. Users living in the European Union, the United Kingdom or other countries keep the protection afforded to them by the mandatory consumer protection rules of their country of residence.
